With a relentless thirst for knowledge and a heart full of wanderlust, she has lived in and explored diverse cultures across the UK, North America, Africa, and Asia, fueling her inspiration and artistic vision.

Beginning her career in Mumbai as an associate creative director at an Ad agency, Shaili developed a profound understanding of colors, layouts, compositions, typography. However, her fascination with the world of arts led her to dig deeper into the exploration of various mediums, including paintings, murals, sculptures, installations etc. where she effortlessly experimented with different colors, textures, and materials.

Eager to expand her horizons, Shaili pursued a master's degree in art and design in the UK, where she honed her skills in creating silk screen prints and captivating installations. Through her studies, she delved into the world of paradoxes, dismantling and recreating art to challenge conventional notions and find meaning in her creations. Her final exhibition showcased a thought-provoking art installation, mesmerizing screen prints, and a pattern book that captivated viewers. The profound success of her project was marked by the university's acquisition of four silk screen prints, which, when displayed together, spelled out the word "LIFE."

Adaptability and seizing opportunities led Shaili to join a prominent educational book company's design team in New York, allowing her to gain valuable insights into visual design of educational books and the design side of the publishing industry in general. Her time spent in Southern Africa further enriched her artistic journey as she immersed herself in internationally acclaimed African art forms. Building close relationships with celebrated artists and sculptors, with a particular focus on the globally renowned Shona sculptures, Shaili witnessed the transformative power of art and the cultural exchange it fosters.

Drawing from these diverse experiences, Shaili has developed a multifaceted set of artistic and business skills, enabling her to approach art with a comprehensive perspective and meticulous attention to detail. Today, she proudly presents her new venture, The Left Brain—an Art Advisory and Studio aimed at bridging the gap between homeowners' budgets and their desire for captivating art.

Understanding that many homeowners/businessowners often overspend on getting their dream piece of real estate, leaves little room for art, Shaili's goal with The Left Brain is to help clients source and commission affordable yet unique paintings, murals, sculptures, and installations that breathe life into their spaces.
